I’ve been using the Purelev crushers for around 5 years now to destroy hard drives. They are more than an effective tool. They are a cost efficient, and super mobile tool for any business working in data destruction or trying to keep their company data safe via a physical destruction strategy. We have purchased 3 of their crushers, one for each of our data centers and highly recommend them. They make very quick work of physically destroying drives. Subjectively, I find the usage mildly cathartic, and look forward to using the crusher. Drives occasionally get stuck after crushing, but a light kick with a closed toe shoe will promptly free it and you're ready to crush the next drive. We often place the crusher in a large scrap box, to catch any flying debris. Scrap metal can fly a couple feet as you're quickly working through batches of drives. We are still testing the Hard Drive Crusher.  We have only crushed over 300 hard drives in 2 months, but still have 250 to go.  Has not given us one problem and still going strong.  We did get the smaller attachment for smaller items to crush and that was a good idea.
